Beyond the White Coat: Sculpting Professional Identity through Mask-Making with Mark Stephens, MD
What does it mean to adopt the persona of a physician? In medical education, the development of a professional identity is often a silent, internal process. This workshop uses the creative medium of mask-making to externalize that process. Participants will reflect on the tension between their authentic selves and the professional expectations of the medical field, visualizing the “masks” they wear in clinical settings and the core values that remain beneath the surface.
