2026 Symposium

The John P. Murphy Symposium in Medical Humanities brings together Ohio medical students, faculty, and others engaged in the health humanities for a day of connection, collaboration, and shared learning.

Generously supported by a grant from the John P. Murphy Foundation, the symposium is free and open to all presenters and attendees.

Programming includes keynote addresses, student presentations, and interactive workshops exploring the medical and health humanities and arts. Student participation is especially encouraged, and awards for outstanding presentations—selected by attendee vote—will be presented at the conclusion of the symposium.
